Here’s this week’s picks for the weekend, starting off with the White Noise dubstep remix of Nancy Sinatra’s Bang Bang. It’s got that spacey feel until the beat drops into pure party-electronica bliss. The Cults’ released their new single, You Know What I mean, after long promising a new album for their most dedicated fans, and the song is sweet and excellent. Jump in the Pool by Friendly Fires has been in rotation here at Eavesdr0p for awhile, but we hadn’t gotten around to sharing it until now. It’s a mix of experimental rhythms and indie rock. Start It Up by the Little Eskimos also has been a favorite for partying to, and the funk/soul combination of Mayor Hawthorne’s new single No Strings has us dancing in no time. Finally, if you want to trip out a little, listen to Bizness by Tune-Yards – experimental pop at its catchiest. Enjoy the weekend!
